Bicycle storage consultation

All residents of Parkview Estate are welcome to participate in our questionnaire and consultation about bicycle storage spaces on Parkview Estate.

Please complete the questionnaire to ascertain whether and what sort of bicycle storage is needed on Parkview Estate. Questionnaire closes on 13. June 2021.

It is very important that you respond to this survey because responses will be used to determine further deployment or removal of already existing storage units on the estate.

Your data will be shared with Tower Hamlets Homes, Tower Hamlets Council and the Parkview Residents Association for evaluation.

The forthcoming meeting of the Tower Hamlets Neighbourhood Watch Association has also invited the Tower Hamlets Cycling and Walking Champion Councillor Kyrsten Perry and the Mayor to discuss cycling storage among other issues. This meeting will take place on 22. June 2021 18:00 – 20:00 at the Glasshouse, organised by the Tower Hamlets Neighbourhood Watch Association.

Residents meeting

Yesterday’s residents meeting was very well attended and I would like to thank all those who contributed to the discussion. Councillor Sirajul Islam also came and enriched the meeting, which was very well led by our chair Cathrine Powell.

People are invited to participate in groups around

  • cycle storage
  • gardening

There is a particular green conscience with residents suggesting a green belt with fruit trees and shrubs. Any bare spots on the estate can be planted up, please get in touch.

There are still problems remaining from the botched Mayor Works program, please contact our Residents Association with your comments about this.

Recycling rates should be increased and more efforts need to be made to put the correct items into the recycling bins.

Support was pledged to keep Raine’s Foundation school open.

Please also see our ASB page for advice on how to report problems.

Please go to our contact page to get in touch if interested. You may also request addition to the Residents Association mailing list.

Cycling route consultation

Transport for London has today opened a new consultation to find out views on new cycling and walking routes between Victoria Park and the Isle of Dogs. Since this affects our residents I publish so you are aware and can take part. Please follow this link.

This might include more roadworks in the area.
