Local police enforce road markings

In a very efficient operation today, the local Safer Neighbourhoods Team in cooperation with the highways patrol team enforced road markings outside of St. John’s C.o.E. Primary School in Peel Grove, London E2.

I was very impressed to see the well executed handling of the matter. Cars blocked the entrance to the St. John’s school forecourt a week ago, when a woman fell ill inside and the ambulance had a problem entering the premises to help.

Today gave a clear message to all parents who bring their kids to school by car, please respect road markings, keep the area free and to the yellow lines, keep the areas clear for your own benefit and the benefit of the wider community.

The acting of the officers was very effective and all parents and users of the school service reacted excellent with the appropriate discipline and all very much appreciated the little reminder from our local officers of how to behave.
