Question and Answer event

The Question, Answer, Action event will take place on 23rd September, 6 – 8pm at George Green’s School, 100 Manchester Road, Isle of Dogs, London E14 3DW.     

The theme of the event is reducing drugs and alcohol abuse and will take during the Tower Hamlets Drug Awareness Week. The event is primarily targeted at young people between the ages of 13 and 19, however any other people e.g. youth workers, mature residents and voluntary sector reps – who are passionate about the topic are most welcome to attend.

 We will also be launching a competition to consult young people’s views on the barriers of tackling drugs and alcohol abuse in the borough. 

 The Rapid Response Team bus will be in residence, offering young people the opportunity to take part in five minute workshops to explore the themes of the competition. Young people will have access to creative mediums such as the use of photography, film or art to express their ideas/work. The RRT bus will be equipped with wi-fi technology with tutors on board to guide the young people with their ideas. Young people will also have the option to submit their work beyond/outside the event.
